This past summer, I picked up a copy of the life-changing magic of tidying up, the Japanese art of decluttering and organizing by Marie Kondo.
[whew - such a long title for a book that helps you streamline and declutter no?!]
My instant reaction to this book was YES! I need to declutter my life. Create more space. Create more time.
I wouldn't consider myself to be an untidy person. I'm a libra and need balance, harmony and tidiness in order for me to stay sane.
What I was looking for was more time and a decluttered head space.
So far, I've read through 2/3rds of the book. Have disposed of 12 bags of clothing and items. Have decluttered my office. My daily planner. My website. and I am no where near stopping!!
I highly recommend the book, and for those who need a visual on all of her folding instructions, take a look at Goop's site as they have fab videos showing you exactly how everything should be folded, from socks to jeans. It's kind of like origami for your wardrobe!
Have you KonMari'd?! How's it going so far?!
