Help with Holiday Lists - My Top 5...(o.k. 6) Online Shops!

I am determined this year to tackle my growing Christmas Shopping list early! I am also determined to get my cards out early!! {by early, I mean before Christmas day - yes, I have been slacking these last few years!!)

We seem to book time for sports, recreation activities, homework etc.  Well, this year I plan on booking time for Holiday Shopping before the rush starts!  I plan on shopping online as much as possible!!!  Which means, I am starting this Friday!! Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sales have already been posted, and WOW, there are deals to be had!

Gone are the days when we wait for a special occasion to buy that pair of pjs, or outfit, or game.  Nowadays, we buy what we need, when we need it {and too much probably for that matter}.

So this year, I am armed with a thorough list, with a reasonable budget and know where I am shopping and how!

Here are my top 5 (o.k. 6) online shops that I'll be using!

1. www.etsy.com  - I have a soft spot for anything that is hand made and unique! This site is perfect for those peeps on your list who have everything.  You'll find something unique and fun here for sure!

2. www.amazon.com - I always shop here for deals on books and electronics.  I can't believe how much I can save when I comparison shop on Amazon.  You name it, they have it!

3. www.gap.com - they have been posting sales like crazy these last few weeks.  Also check their sister sites, Banana Republic and Old Navy.  Great for kids clothes!

4. www.zinio.com - for the peeps on my list who are iPad users and love magazines! I am asking for a magazine subscription this year.  It's something that I normally wouldn't get myself, but it's the gift that keeps on giving the entire year.

Lastly, for those people on your list, who truly don't need an thing, and appreciate giving back,

5. www.kiva.org - it's one of my favourite charities to support! I love, love, investing in people.  You donate to a specific person or a number of people who you choose to support by donating to their business and help them set-up or grow their business.  It's a loan that they pay back and that you can re-invest and help someone else with.  If you haven't hear of them yet, I highly recommend checking them out!

Of course...

6. artshop.lifeidesign.com is one closest to my heart that is filled with unique art, tea towels and cards that will help you share beauty this holiday season!!

I hope at least one of these sites helps you get ready for the holidays.  May your shopping be a little easier, with no long lineups leaving you more time to enjoy those close to you this upcoming holiday season!

Before I let you go, here's a promo code to help you knock a few things of your list on Friday ...
