Mother’s Day Gift Guide for Artists

Mother’s Day is around the corner. I like to make my Mother’s Day gifts personal and add a mix of valuable and personalized items. Here are a few of my favorites in this Mother's Day gift guide for artists!

Practical gift ideas

This glass tumbler is a perfect practical Mother’s Day gift. I love that it comes in a ton of different colors, so you can find the best one. It’s the one that I use in my studio and makes me feel more comfortable about not spilling anything on my art or laptop for that matter! If you’re a sticker lover, you can go the extra mile and find beautiful waterproof stickers to add and personalize the tumbler!

I also like gifting some trinket dishes or organization items. This wooden bowl is great for adding to a coffee table, or grab these baskets and create a gift basket with small items inside.

The Gift of Art for Mother’s Day

Art prints and canvases are a great Mother’s Day gift! I like to create a few or find some that match the current home decor they have. If they love and collect art, finding unique pieces to add to their collection is a gift in itself!

I’m announcing my new art release on May 13th. There are so many new pieces I’m excited to share that will make great gifts. You can sign up to be notified by clicking here.

DIY your Mother’s Day Gift!

Skip the candles and fuzzy socks this year and create some beautiful pieces for your Mother’s Day gift! In my Watercolor Lounge Collection, we create some simple yet beautiful pieces that make great personalized gifts. If you’ve already taken any of my classes, you can use the techniques you learned to create a personalized gift for your mom. Gifting art and adding a nice frame to create a professional look can make all the difference!

Another fun gift idea is to gift one of the courses or books to Mom and make it an activity you complete together! The time spent with Mom will be cherished as you learn a new skill together!

Mother’s Day is such a sweet holiday celebrating mothers or mother figures in your life. No matter what you decide to gift, making it personal is the most important thing.
