Watercolor Tutorial: How to easily create depth in your watercolor paintings

A few months ago we sent a survey out to our artist community asking for things that they needed help with when it came to watercolor painting. Lots of people came back with wanting to learn how to get better at color mixing, many came back with wondering how to create depth in their watercolor paintings.

Earlier this month, I hosted a live watercolor painting tutorial and catch-up session with our private community of Watercolors Made Simple students. I really enjoy our live sessions as it’s an opportunity for us to come together, ask questions and of course paint together!

For a list of some of my favorite things to help you get painting and enjoying your watercolor sketchbook practice, I’ve compiled a new list in my Amazon shop. Like this sketchbook which is one of my favs, and these new pastels that I think you’re going to love as much as I do!

Let me know if there are any watercolor tips you’d like me to share!
