Modern Watercolor for Beginners online class is now open for registration!
Over the last few months I’ve had some great conversations with fellow watercolor enthusiasts about how intimidating watercolor painting can be especially if you’ve never picked up watercolors before and if you don’t consider yourself to be artistic!
I totally get it!
I didn’t really consider myself to be an artist for a very long time. To me, the title artist was reserved for people who painted masterpieces, or whose sculptures were in museums, or who were represented by galleries. Talk about a conditioned belief!
You are an artist. I’m an artist. We all have the desire to create,
and the courage to try our hand at painting.
That’s it! That makes us all artists.
I spoke to students who were in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who have wanted to learn watercolor painting their whole lives but never had the courage or the opportunity until they took my class.
I truly believe that watercolor painting is something that everyone can learn. We can all draw lines and circles right?! Add some key instruction, fun projects and the right tools, and I believe you CAN learn how to paint modern, fun, flowy and beautiful watercolor pieces!
